Flight Attendant Interview Tips

flight attendant

Hi, my name is John Kirkland and I wrote this eBook to help you get a job as a flight attendant. I had no clue what I was doing when I started on my journey but I learned quickly. What I want to do with this book is to short circuit your learning curve and put you way ahead of the game when it comes to having a successful interview with recruiters who can be intimidating and hard to figure out. My benefit was that I worked in the airline industry and have access to many recruiters and management directly involved in the process, so I know what I’m talking about. A job as a flight attendant can really be fun. But why would you want it? Probably the most popular answer is that it allows you some freedoms that a lot of jobs don’t. And at the same time, you can see a lot of places you would never have gotten to see. The travel benefits and the excitement of flying from here to there never seem to get too old. Sure, you’ll have days when you long for your own bed and are tired of living out of a roller-board but when you know you’ll be working for a great company and working with great people, life becomes this fun place to create a new you; a flight attendant lifestyle.

The best way to use this book is to read it all the way through. It won’t take long. Then, go back and really learn specific areas you are not familiar with. I have made a point of creating “Flight Attendant Wing Tips” that will summarize key areas that normally are “fatal” (meaning, if you mess up on that point, you are not going to make it), if you don’t have them down in your memory. But all in all, none of the book is real difficult. It is just a mirror of what the flight attendant recruiters are looking for in an applicant – YOU!

I also address mindset in this book. It is so critical to believe that you can become a flight attendant and expect it. When I read the online forums and see where people were expecting the “sorry, not this time” letter, it just baffles me because in life, you normally get what you expect. Go expecting this is going to be your job! See yourself in that uniform. Smell the smells of the airport, the jet bridge, the galley with the coffee brewing. See yourself looking down the aisle on the front side of a beverage cart knowing that soon you’ll be in a nice hotel in Taiwan! It can all be yours if you simply change your thinking and are equipped with the tips I give you in this book.

Finally, if you feel you haven’t been helped at all, I’ll certainly refund your money. This book isn’t for you. And one other point – please don’t share this book with anyone. They can buy their own copy. This book took a ton of effort to compile and I believe I’m asking for much less than enough for it. But when you share it for free, well, then I don’t make anything and it just may jinx you and the person you share it with and I know you don’t want to do that. You bought it – use it to your advantage. If they want this job bad enough, they can get their own copy. Tell them about the website and you did your good deed for the day. I truly believe in karma.

And now, settle back in your seats, put your tray tables in the upright position and dive into the guide that will get you that job at the airline you have always wanted. God’s speed!
